Director of Development

The City of Lee's Summit has created a new Director of Development position and is seeking qualified applicants. If you are interested, please respond by this Friday.

This position will coordinate development services, policy recommendations and application relating to development activities and complete other special projects as assigned. Will support the Deputy City Administrator regarding the negotiation and policy recommendation relating to development, economic incentive, and annexation proposals. Acts as city liaison to local developers, contractors, architects, engineers, and other members of the development community. Minimum requirements are a Bachelors Degree in public administration, political science, or business administration, or closely related field; Master's Degree preferred. A minimum of five years of increasingly responsible experience with a local government or related area is required. Range midpoint is $68,364 and salary will be DOQ plus an excellent benefit package.
