Job Description:
Economic Development Director
The Taney County Industrial Development Authority is seeking an economic development professional to lead a not-for-profit countywide economic
development program. The director, working with the six member Board of Directors,
will be responsible for designing a new program to insure the achievement of this organizations immediate and long range goals for future growth in business and industry and community and workforce development.
This position offers the Director an opportunity to prepare and manage economic development activities, marketing of Taney County to business and industry, retention and expansion of existing businesses, day to day operations and additional functions as needed by the Board. Some travel is required.
Compensation and Benefits: Salary range between $30,000-$40,000 (DOQ), mileage
reimbursement, and county provided benefits and professional development assistance.
