Business Outreach Manager

The Platte County Economic Development Council seeks a self-starter as “Business Outreach Manager” to provide staff support to the executive director for the implementation of the goals and objectives of the Platte County Economic Development Council as set by the Board of Directors and outlined in the annual Program of Work.  Essential duties and responsibilities include; Business outreach/business development services, marketing and public relations, investor recruitment/investor services and fund development.  A Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Marketing degree preferred.  This position requires the ability to work with computer software, including Windows, Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Outlook, Dreamweaver for Webpage editing/maintenance, and ACT database software.  A Familiarity with webpage terminology preferred.
