Executive Director

The Atchison County Development Corporation is seeking a qualified individual to fill the vacancy of Executive Director.

Atchison County is the northwest corner county of Missouri.  The population is approximately 6,430 people.  It is a rural county with excellent possibilities for growth.  Its existing assets provide a solid foundation for development.

The Executive Director position reports to a nine member Board of Directors.  This individual will also oversee the Atchison County Industrial Development Authority as well as the Atchison County Tourism Commission.

This individual will be primarily responsible for business attraction, expansion, and retention as well as a host of other economic development field related projects.  This individual must be able to effective work with city and county officials, as well as civic and business leaders in the communities.   

Salary is commensurate with experience with a benefit component. 

Formal education in business or related field preferred.  Experience in development or related field also preferred.
