Executive
Director -- Wright County IDA, Hartville, MO
The Wright County Industrial Development
Authority (IDA) is seeking a regionally-minded professional to
serve as Executive Director for the countywide economic
development organization.
Wright County (pop. 18,000) is located in
south-central Missouri. The IDA is a quasi-public organization
made up of nine board members, selected by the Wright County
Commission, and oversees funds from a landfill tipping fee. These
funds, specifically designated for economic development, ensure
stability and support for the IDA and its mission to help create
and retain employment opportunities for Wright County citizens.

Responsibilities: Prepare and manage economic
development activities, marketing of Wright County to business &
industry, retention & expansion of existing businesses, administer
existing loans, day-to-day operations, and additional functions as
needed by the Board. Some travel required.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in
business, economics, finance, or related field. Two (2) years
experience in economic development or related field desired.
Compensation & Benefits: Salary range between
$30,000 – 40,000 (DOQ), mileage reimbursement, SIMPLE IRA, health
insurance reimbursement, professional development assistance.
