The City of Fayette, Missouri is accepting resumes for the position of Director of Economic and Community Development. This position is under the administrative direction of the City Administrator. Responsibilities include planning and implementing a comprehensive economic development program for the city serving as a liaison to the business, industrial, and residential communities, and the performance of any other work required by the Mayor, Board of Aldermen, or City Administrator. A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Urban Planning or a related field, plus two (2) years of experience in business management, economic development, or city planning are desired. Qualified applicants should possess good computer, oral, and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and public relations skills are required. Salary will be commensurate with the qualifications of the successful applicant. Resumes may be submitted to the City Clerk's office, 117 S.
