The Barton County Chamber of Commerce (EOE) is seeking an
energetic and highly motivated professional to lead the economic
and community development initiatives headquartered in the
award-winning community of Lamar, Missouri. The executive director
will implement strategy for business expansion and attraction,
tourism, downtown/ retail development, governmental affairs, and
membership services. Administrative and financial management
duties for the county-wide Chamber are included in the position,
as well as public relations and marketing functions. The position
requires an advanced degree or equivalent experience with
preference given to graduates of accredited economic development
training programs. The successful applicant should be proficient
