City of Sullivan - Economic Development Director  

The City of Sullivan , Missouri , population 6,351 (2000 census), is a growing community located 68 miles southwest of St. Louis . The City is seeking an Economic Development Director. This person will prepare and manage major economic development activities, special projects, and implementation plans in the Community Development Department as well as oversee strategies to enhance the economic development and revitalization of established commercial and industrial areas in the City.

Qualifications: Requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, urban planning, public administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Prefer five years of progressive professional economic development experience. Certification for American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) or Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) preferred.
