Job Description:
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The Partnership for Community Growth, a new
public/private partnership (501-c-6) located in Liberty, Missouri,
is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Executive
Director. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of
Directors. The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient
and effective execution of activities in the following essential
areas: business attraction and retention; coordination of the
marketing plan; budgeting and fundraising; maintenance of
membership; long-range planning and other duties and
responsibilities as may be assigned by the Board.
The candidate chosen will frequently and regularly interact with
local existing business and industry representatives; prospective
new business and industry representatives; board members;
community leaders; local and state economic development agencies;
media; and other individuals and groups as required.
The successful candidate should have a bachelor’s degree or an
equivalent level of experience. Five years of experience and a
CEcD are preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication
skills are essential as are attention to details, a cooperative
attitude, work accuracy and organizational skills.
