ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

Cabool, Missouri (2,168 pop) requires bachelor’s degree in public/business administration or related field with a minimum of three years experience in progressively responsible management position in public and/or private sectors.  The successful candidate must possess good organization and communication skills; and the ability to work successfully with federal, state, and local officials.  The position will be under direct supervision of the City Administrator and will be required to report to the Mayor and Board of Aldermen when requested to do so.  The individual will be responsible for economic retention, recruiting, and marketing programs. Responsible for planning and developing commercial and industrial development programs, grant preparation and administration.  Salary commensurate with experience, range $26,500 - $29,000 entry level, excellent benefit package.  Successful candidate must pass pre-employment background check, reference check and drug screening.  Letter of interest and resume to City Administrator, P.
