City Administrator
Bethany, MO
The City of Bethany, A fourth-class
city population 3,087, is seeking applications for the position
of "City Administrator". Bethany has 35 full time employees
with an annual budget of approximately $6.8 million. Candidate
must possess strong leadership, communication, and
organizational skills with a background in municipal
government. Essential duties include general supervision of all
departments, which include: Electric, Gas, Water, Sewer,
Streets, Parks & Recreation, Fire and Economic Development.
Other duties include purchasing, budgeting & financial planning,
and any and all other duties or functions prescribed by the
Mayor and Board of Aldermen. Position reports to Mayor and
4-member council. Applicant shall be a graduate of an
accredited university or college, majoring in public or
municipal administration, or shall have the equivalent
qualifications and experience in financial, administrations
and/or public relations fields. The salary range is $40K to 45K
with excellent benefits package. Residency required.
