POSITION TITLE: Digital Content Strategist
DIVISION: Marketing
SUPERVISOR: Vice President, Marketing & Communications
FLSA: Exempt (not eligible for overtime)
SCHEDULE: Full-Time (40 hours)

attracting new jobs and investment to the state and promoting Missouri’s business strengths.
Since 2008, Missouri Partnership has worked with partners statewide to attract companies that
have created 32,000+ new jobs, $1.6 billion+ in new annual payroll, and $6.1 billion+ in new
capital investment.
The Digital Content Strategist will oversee SEO strategy, create and implement social media
content and advertising campaigns, manage e-mail distributions, write digital content, and
support the overall Marketing & Communications efforts of Missouri Partnership to elevate
Missouri’s image as a premier business expansion location.
• Review and refresh core messaging about Missouri that is authentic and compelling
• Devise and execute a digital strategy to communicate a brand effectively online
• Review and update brand standards regularly
• Establish and maintain brand consistency throughout the entire organization
• Explore and execute a variety of digital advertising
• Create and maintain strong messaging through earned and paid digital media
• Develop editorial strategy to ensure content is consistent across all delivery platforms
• Coordinate and manage relationships with marketing and advertising agencies
• Analyze digital content strategy to identify successful tactics
• Establish metrics, track progress and calculate ROI
• Perform content audits regularly
• Enhance and maintain website to provide a compelling tool for business recruitment
• Provide custom online targeting for specific events, prospects and projects
• Design landing pages as needed for Project Management team
• Attend all project announcement events and provide full online coverage, including
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Minimum ` years of experience in digital media, advertising, and/or marketing
• Economic development experience preferred
• Thorough knowledge of social media advertising
• Expertise in SEO and measuring results
• Proven web content strategy and project management experience
• Exceptional marketing and collaborative skills
• Credible and articulate, with excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative, artistic mindset while striving for perfection
The position will be based in Clayton, Missouri. It will require some travel including driving a
motor vehicle and air travel. Total travel varies based on overall project activity and marketing
